Hannover flower

this happened about a week ago...me and the sisters and mom went to see the hannover flower exhibit now open to the public
it's actually closed then idk when it is they open it but here's a picture of what it looks like when they do.
they let people in in small groups

each stand with a person on it had a motion sensor so when you stood in front of it that person's voice would turn on and speak to youu..kinda creepy but cool..there were native americans, elderly people, kids, etc

My mom made this tradition of painting these (idk what material they are?) houses since my sisters and I were kids and now they make a whole village! I'm sure if we were still in the states we'd still be painting these at around this time *sigh*

It's November! It's November!! ahh time is going by way too quicklyyy..I want this season to last forever.

Last night (actually more like last afternoon) the weather was really nice for once and I didn't have to turn on a single fan! (fans is what we do here...rarely do people have a/c's..my mom's room has one but i'm alright without it)

These were taken about a week ago I LOVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS and anything to do with CHRISTMAS, in fact I was at the mall about a month ago with some friends and we went into Beco (I link the site because I'm loving the festiveness of it AH CHRISTMAS) and the second floor already had christmas trees and decorations on sale and I was instantly 10x happier. I have written the word 'christmas' way too many times already.

I'd always wanted that word lights in my room and this year I finally got them and now when it gets dark I don't even turn on the reg room light just plug in the C lights. :D

How had I never heard of this cover???? What's the point of subscribing to 10 (5) different music blogs if they don't tell me this stuff?

In the past 3 days I've witnessed 2 scary events involving humans. The first one was this past Sunday as I was working (waitressing) and it's an outdoor fast food place so that's how I got to witness said event. So everything was normal blah blah then suddenly I hear wheels screeching..pretty normal here..people drive like maniacs...but then the sound keeps going and doesn't stop so I look over and this car is swerving slightly from side to side and I just think he's lost a bit of control but theeen it swerves sharply to the left where the street division is? Everyone thought it would go over to the other side where the incoming cars would be (should explain that there were no cars on the street at this point) but it didn't and just went along with the division and there were sparks! from the friction..then suddenly the car does a U-turn and hits the sidewalk and BAM right back wheel pops out and the car stopped..

I'd never witnessed something like that..t'was really scary..no one was harmed and actually the car (superficially, at least) wasn't in too bad a shape. But still. Wow. Okay so the other one was today when I was getting into the car leaving class and I look over to my right and there were these 2 grown men fist fighting until one started bleeding under an eye and this lady went over and said something to them..

So yeah people are scary man...

Tomorrow I have UGH more class...and that's all that's been going on in my life really.

Mmmm so yeah I love love love this blogger Raymi she's probably the reason I started to really blog the way I do now..she's my blogger idol. Bleeeech........school is so so so boriiiiiiiing. Maybe it's because I was sick for the first few days or something? But MAN there are like 13-20 people in my classes this semester (compared to 35 from the one before) and they're so. very. dull.

Maybe it's just the fact that I was sick....

I guess oral presentations will be a breeze....bleugh I don't even want to think about having to go back week after week........

So for my birthday I planned 3 events for the night. Technically I celebrated it a week later because some people (cough cough)my fam(cough cough) kept screwing with my plans..............

The first was bowling (new bowling place at the mall), then a movie (can you believe School for Scoundrels JUST came out here?!!?!) and lastly a bbq @mig's (bf).

I did not take these pics that's why they are so....different.

I've only bowled about 2 times in my life (3 if you count that time long long ago when I was...13??14??) So I didn't know too much but I caught on quick >.O

Yesterday I got my hair chopped..just some minor tweaks to cut off the dead ends, really (I'll miss those, they're so much fun to play with in class!). We're having a "class party" during p.e. at a nearby park and I have an oral presentation the class before that. My part is really short so no need to wish me luck! I haven't updated cuz I've been too lazy/busy to be on the internet..
I haven't taken any pictures with my camera either but the good thing about being in a private university is that people have enough money for cameras and then use them..so here are some pictures from facebook!haha let's start with the oldest..this is from cubiro, the other end of the camera. that's me in the boyf's sweater, i was the warmest there >.< walk more awkwardly, will you?

this was a...4 mile walk? i have no idea..it was a lot but it was a walk and it was 10 (out of 100 for the semester) points for physical education (yes you have to take p.e. in college here, everyone does, but trust me it's the easiest class..)

ended with a bus ride back to campus (air conditioned!!..very rare here)
and then lastly, on friday it was one of my friend's birthday (yay ana!-- in the middle)

had a surprise bbq/sports day at boif's yesterday. the boys played soccer (only fun to watch if your friends are in the game)

swings make me feel dizzy but i still love them as much as when i was 8. i think it's because it combines 2 of my favorite things: 1-sitting (aka being lazy) and 2-floating (aka pretending to fly)
i suuuuuuck at volleyball but it's probably the sport i least suck at

that's why i'm taking the pictures :D

This sunday was double-celebration day. Sis' 18th plus father's day.
I totally forgot it was father's day though..
so we went over to see mountains! and experience cold weather!
i was pessimistic about the cold weather thing. that's what everyone says when you mention Cubiro (city/town about an hour from where i live) but you know, they've never been to the Rockies, etc..
I was wrong and it was cold.
Don't mind the black smudges, there's something the wrong with my camera.

There were horses to go on and my dad and sisters all got on. I was the timid one, but next time.

Alright so last night I was looking through tweets and I saw a link to The Cheeseburger Show and saw some (all) of the (6) eps and I hadn't eaten dinner yet so I was like ahhhhh (that's drooling).

And then my wonderful bf called and I remembered he'd made a bunch of burgers the day before and I asked if he could bring me one and TA-DA!

Ok these are kinda backwards but whatever..

That plant was a christmas gift to our mother..it's STILL alive.

Any day it rains here is a great day for me. I'm so used to Florida where there would be water pouring from the sky every week and here we go months (ok at least it seems like it) where there's no rain!

I'm uploading a video of the rain..let's see how long that takes. I actually thought of singing while I was recording it but I'm too shy..maybe another time.

About a half hour after taking that video I hear this guy from the building next door (?) yelling "La camioneta! Se estan robando la camioneta!" and so I get up and go see and apparently they stole the guy's truck that he'd parked outside the private parking lot but still IN PLAIN SIGHT of practically everyone in the surrounding buildings. The balls on that guy. There's even a lady that has a fruit stand right next to where the truck was..
Did I mention our building has a guard? Cuz it does. I don't think he even has a gun, though. My father said he'd get off easy seeing as how the car was parked outside the private parking. Poor guy..

The weekend is coming! The weekend is coming!
Once I get out of class at 6...I will be busier than I am on weekdays. Ugh, I want lazy Sundays and Saturdays back. Tonight I have to help with some filming of a music video (part of a production course I'm taking). Saturday morning at 9 I've got the production course, in the afternoon is some discipleship class. Sunday morning (9 again) I've got camera assistant job at the church and in the afternoon is the youth portion which I've decided not to go to anymore.
Basically my lazy days are Mondays (no class), Thursday (light classes) and Fridays (also light + it's FRIDAY).
Off to paint my nails then..

Just thinking about how the editing on this must've been makes me want to give the person responsible an award of some sort..or a hug..

Coca Cola + Green Tea

When Vanilla Coke came out I was excited. Two awesome flavors mixed together??! Sweeet!
Now Coca-Cola released a new fusion of unlikely(-er) flavors in my favorite country, Japan.

That's green tea+coke, in case you can't the text. Now, I've had good experiences with green tea-flavored drinks but this? Leave it to Japan, of course.

Chris Stewart at Candy Critic had a taste of it: "...basically you can barely taste the green tea, I had to swish it around to get a sense of it. It’s also sugar free so it just taste like diet coke."

Meh, if it tastes like diet coke, no thanks. Not that I'll have a chance at tasting it any time soon, seeing as how coke zero just made it's way to my country..

in honor of tetris' 25th year (i only know this because of google's front page..love those) here's a link to a site where you can play against other people!
i remember back in the day when i had to go to the library to get on the internet, one of my favorite things to do was play tetris on yahoo where i'd talk to whoever i was playing with and maybe become e-mail pals or whatnot haha how easy and non-cynical of me
i still love tetris, i played that thing non-stop on one of my first cell phones and then when it came out for the nintendo DS. don't we all want to go back to those seemingly neverending days?
